In 1986, a young girl named Adelaide wanders away at the funfair and stumbles upon a beachfront attraction where she discovers an unnerving presence in the hall of mirrors that will haunt her for the next thirty years. In the present day Adelaide is now a grown woman on vacation with her traditional middle-class American family where her boisterous husband Gabe, along with their two children Jason and Zora, are determined to have a good time at their beach house. Their serenity, however, soon turns into a fight to survive as a group of people calling themselves ‘The Tethered’, who look exactly like the family, appear in their driveway and begin to terrorise them. This chilling second film from visionary horror director Jordan Peele is an intense and probing look into class, community and the duality of contemporary America.
Psychological horror from director Darren Aronofsky that follows a leading ballerina undergoing a dramatic and dark change in character.
