In this short film, a group of hamsters attempt to navigate life in the palace of Versailles. However they struggle with some of the historical aspects of the life – whether it’s riding horses, fitting into corsets or jousting – partly because they’re not suited to such activities, and sometimes because their animal instincts simply take over! This cute and gentle non-dialogue animation is an introduction to historical settings and how life has changed over the centuries.
