This short documentary is narrated by and seen through the eyes of a seven-year-old girl named Nuraiyah who speaks of the marvels found in life. As she roams through the urban landscape of her city surroundings, she thinks about how life can be so many different things – sad, hard, fun, happy – all at once, and how it is made up of family, friends, nature and all the other things that surround her. This is an optimistic film featuring beautiful cinematography that reminds us what it is to be a child full of hope.
The magic and innocence of childhood is captured in this drama which follows the adventures of six-year-old Moonee across a single summer.
