Synopsis

Jerome was on a low paid, zero-hour contract as a motorbike courier, unable to pay two £65 traffic fines, his debts began to escalate until the bailiffs and police became involved. Unable to see a way out of a cycle of debt, he died by suicide. This dramatised account of Jerome’s story was written based on interviews and video footage is a tough but urgent look at the issues around income insecurity, payday loan companies and suicide ideation.
