Synopsis

From the British animation studio Aardman Animations, this is a stop-motion comedy classic featuring the good-natured and cheese-loving Wallace and his loyal dog Gromit. It’s Gromit’s birthday and as a gift passionate inventor Wallace has made him some ‘Techno Trousers’, robotic trousers that can take him for a walk when Wallace is busy. While Gromit takes the trousers for a test run, Wallace rents out his spare room to a rather mysterious Penguin called Feathers McGraw. Little does Wallace know that Feathers is a master Penguin criminal and is hatching a plan that will challenge Wallace and Gromit’s special friendship.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
