On the 6th of June 1944, the allied armies brought together their land, sea and air forces in an attempt to turn the tide of World War Two and set a path to victory. This enthralling documentary uses real-life testimonies, eyewitness accounts and reconstructions of five individuals who were involved in key moments that would change the course of history on the day that would come to be known as D-Day. In contrast to the history books and documentaries that cover the politics and historical figures that shaped the war, this film takes a more personal and intimate approach to remind us that a single person can have a huge impact on the way the world turns.
