Synopsis

This enchanting animation follows the adventures of Annie and Teddy, a pair of old toys who are cast out into the snow one cold Christmas night when some flashy new playthings arrive in the nursery. Together they set out on a dangerous quest to find a new home and some children to love them. Director Graham Ralph's short film covers much of the same ground as Disney's Toy Story, but it's an altogether gentler and more melancholy tale.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
