Awarded an Oscar for Best Film when it was first released, Kramer Vs Kramer is a powerful and absorbing study of divorce. When Ted and Joanna Kramer separate it is agreed that Ted will take custody of their young son. But when Joanna seeks permanent custody a bitter battle ensues between the two parents - with their child caught in the middle. The movie packs a raw emotional punch which some children with separated parents might find upsetting - but it's a film that's always firmly on the side of the kids.
This film has a few uses of mild bad language and sex references.
