Synopsis

One of Britain's most well-loved comedic characters, the rubber-faced Mr. Bean, wins a holiday to the south of France in a raffle and sets off for the sun. But of course, in the world of Mr. Bean things never go according to plan - and soon he is tangling with seafood, accidentally kidnapping a small boy, tussling with a egotistical film director and finally embarking on a mad dash to Cannes with a beautiful French actress. This madcap comedy pays tribute to classic silent comedy whilst also creating a pleasantly sweet contemporary film that appeals to a wide variety of audiences.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
