In this adaptation of Jane Austen's classic novel, sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood find that times are tough when their father dies and their half-brother gets most of the inheritance. The two Dashwoods have to balance the search for genuine love with knowing any husband can't be poor. But any decent Jane Austen adaptation (and this is an excellent one) knows that the plot is the least important bit of her work - it's the words and the sharp characterisation that make it special.
Spoilt Emma Woodhouse attempts to improve the lives and loves of her friends in this smart version of Jane Austen's novel.
