Synopsis
There haven't been many sequels that are regarded as better than the originals - but to many people, Superman II is an exception, being even more enthralling than the 1978 adventure it followed. This time around, Superman (alias mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent) agrees to give up his superpowers so that he can live as a normal man with his sweetheart, Lois Lane, just as the earth faces its biggest threat in history. Three fiendish criminals who had been banished to the far corners of the universe back on Superman's home planet of Krypton have escaped and are now hellbent on taking over earth, but will Superman be able to stop them now that he is merely just another human being?
