Synopsis

This is a classic British war movie with something of a difference - the characters are pigeons. Valiant wants to do his bit during World War II, but he's worried he's too small. Still, he manages to make his way to London to sign up, and is soon conveying vital messages - but can he stay clear of the dangerous German falcons? Top animated fun.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
