Synopsis

Imagine if your grandfather was such a legend that you were destined to remain forever in his shadow - and now imagine that your grandfather was none other than the original Dr Frankenstein! This is the predicament Fredrick Frankenstein finds himself in during this much-loved, brilliantly zany comedy Here, the Frankenstein legend is rewritten as Frederick discovers his late grandfather's diaries - and attempts to continue his ghoulish work, with hilarious results. This parody of the original 1930s Frankenstein movies is filled with timeless one-liners and some of the most hilarious set-pieces any comedy fan could wish for - the song "Putting On The Ritz" will never seem the same again.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
