Synopsis

Back in 2006, British film Kidulthood presented a hard-edged and realistic portrait of life for ordinary young people in a tough part of west London. Now, Adulthood picks up where Kidulthood left off, following the story of Sam Peel, the former bully whose terrible crime ended the original film. Having spent six years in prison, Sam is finally released. Returning to the same streets where he lived before, he finds that much has changed in his old neighbourhood, but certain things remain the same and even as Sam tries to break free of the past and create a new life for himself, he finds that others are still seeking revenge for his actions. Like its predecessor, Adulthood pulls no punches in portraying what modern London can hold for its young people.
