Synopsis

For about fifteen minutes, Burn After Reading appears to be a slick spy conspiracy thriller whose main character is an embittered CIA agent by the name of Osbourne Cox. But then Cox's memoirs fall into the hands of a couple of dim-witted gym employees who think they have a saleable top secret on their hands - and the film becomes a frantic comedy about the havoc caused by idiots who are absolutely convinced they're actually incredibly clever. The famously madcap Coen brothers made the film, and Brad Pitt and George Clooney star.
