Synopsis

Live action combines with CGI to tell the inventive story of 10-year-old Arthur and his quest to keep his grandma's home from property developers. Guided by his missing granddad's diaries, the plucky youngster magically shrinks to micro-size and goes in search of a stash of rubies hidden in a miniature land in their backyard. It's populated by the Minimoys, a people so tiny they're considered invisible. But in trying to save his family, Arthur becomes an even greater hero when he helps defend his new friends from an evil warlord.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
