Leading the new cinema releases this week is true story Battle of the Sexes, set in 1973, which sees tennis star and gender equality advocate Billie Jean King take up ex-champion Bobby Riggs' challenge of a match that still to this day remains the most watched in tennis history.
Also available are nature documentary Jane which features previously unseen archive footage of chimps in Tanzania; The Star, an animated spin on the nativity story; Manifesto, in which Cate Blanchett performs a series of monologues exploring the role of art in modern society; and Suburbicon, George Clooney's 1950s-set dark comedy.
Note: Film ordering is currently suspended until January 2018 while we establish a new DVD distribution service. In the meantime, you are still able to add titles to your club's wishlist. Find out more.
Leading this week's DVD releases is Spider-Man: Homecoming, providing a fresh reboot of the popular teen crime-fighter in a comedic effort from Sony and Marvel. Feeling ready to become a fully-fledged Avenger after his escapades in Captain America: Civil War, the would-be superhero is nonetheless rebuffed by Tony Stark, who insists that Peter return to his school studies. However, it's not long before a suitable nemesis turns up, leading Peter Parker to happily don the red and blue suit despite the great dangers and responsibilities that it brings with it.
