We're thrilled to announce that bookings are now live for the Into Film Festival 2017, giving you the chance to be a part of the world's biggest, free youth film festival, which takes place from 8 - 24 November. The Festival is open to schools, colleges, youth leaders and home educators, and uses the magic of film - from exclusive preview screenings of new blockbusters to showings of popular classics - to engage young minds in a broad range of topics.
There is such a buzz around school with all the cinema trips going on at the moment. We've been able to offer trips for every Key Stage with so many different learning objectives supported by them. It's been brilliant!

This year's Festival offers 3,000 screenings of over 140 films, with more than 130 speakers and special events taking place across 600 venues throughout the UK. These venues include all the major UK cinema chains, as well as more unique and unusual locations, ranging from the British Library, V&A museum, BFI Southbank, and Pinewood Studios, to a secret bunker in Scotland, a farm in Wales, an aquarium in Plymouth, and an Ark and a castle in Northern Ireland. IMAX screens and 3D and 4D experiences are also available.
The 2017 Festival will open with an exciting star-studded pupil premiere screening of Paddington 2 in London's famous Leicester Square - a fantastic chance to see Paddington's new adventure before its nationwide release. This event will book up extremely quickly, so book your places now!
As ever, all tickets are free, and screenings will fill up fast, so be sure to check out the full Festival programme today and use the search to find out what's going on in your area.
I cannot state how wonderful this experience was for my pupils... I felt honoured to be able to take some of these children to the cinema for the first time. I believe this is a trip which they will remember and think back on for a very long time. I teach in a deprived area and this trip was very special for staff and pupils alike.
