The Into Film Festival is taking place between 7 - 23 November, which can only mean one thing - the return of the Into Film Festival Review Writing Competition! With great prizes to be won, this is a great way to help boost literacy and make the Festival even more engaging for young audiences.
Reviews are an important part of the film industry, and can really make you think about your own performance. This is an exciting competition that could encourage the next generation of film reviewers, and ensure the future of film criticism is in safe hands!

The Into Film Festival programme is designed to bring an exciting range of films - both new releases and beloved classics - to young audiences, helping support their learning and contributing to their cultural, creative and personal development.
We hope all of our attendees - both young people and educators alike - will have an amazing experience and feel inspired by the films they see. There are scores of great films in this year's Festival programme, and with our review writing competition, we want to find out what you thought of them!
Review a film using the form below, in no more than 300 words, and you could win some amazing prizes for your film club or class. You can review as many films as you like, as long as you saw them as part of the Festival. Just don't forget to tell us which film you're reviewing please!

How to Enter
Reviews are welcome from every Festival attendee. All entries will be reviewed by the Into Film Team, and winners will be chosen from the following categories:
- Primary Review (ages 5 - 11)
- Secondary Review (ages 11 - 16)
- Sixth Form Review (ages 16 - 19)
- Audio-Description Review* (ages 5 - 19)

The Audio-Description Review category is kindly supported by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). We appreciate that audio-description is an art form in itself and we are keen to know how it worked with the film and if it improved the experience at all.
Entries in to this category should be submitted as outlined above, but will be judged by the RNIB.

For all the budding Scottish reviewers out there, Into Film has also partnered with The Herald for our Review Writing Competition. Students who submit a review of any film they've enjoyed at the Into Film Festival by Monday 26 November will also have a chance of getting their words published in the film section of The Herald. The winner will be announced on Friday 30 November.
