We at Into Film have long known that film is an incredibly powerful tool for learning, engaging children of all ages and abilities. Now, Into Film+ enables schools to stream films at the click of a button, allowing educators to unlock the power of film in the classroom like never before!
Featuring a catalogue of over 150 films at launch - with more titles to be added - Into Film+ caters to pupils of all ages. From timeless classics to exciting new releases, each film is specially selected by our expert curation team to support curriculum learning.
What's more, every film is packaged with curriculum-linked educational resources to support educators of young people across all ages and abilities, and providing teachers with a fantastic, user-friendly tool to aid with planning and enhance their teaching.
Into Film+ is enabling us to use film in ways we had never been able to before - clips and sections of films woven into our schemes of learning to increase engagement in lessons, as well as helping students to understand difficult concepts.

Into Film research** has found that many teachers are using leading commercial streaming platforms to show films in school, despite it not being covered by terms and conditions. As the first free streaming platform dedicated to film and designed specifically for all school uses, Into Film+ will solve this problem, enabling teachers to stream films legally.

How Do I Get Started?
To access Into Film+, all you'll need is an Into Film Account - it's completely free, and only takes a moment to set up. Into Film+ is free to use for all UK state schools that hold a valid Public Video Screening (PVS) Licence from Filmbankmedia.
Filmbankmedia PVS Licences are paid for on behalf of schools by all local authorities in England and by some local authorities in both Wales and Scotland. Into Film NI cover the license cost for some schools in Northern Ireland. For further information on licensing in your locality please see our FAQs.
If you don't have a PVS Licence, or aren't already covered, then a licence can easily be obtained from Filmbankmedia.
Filmbankmedia
Filmbankmedia licenses and distributes film and TV entertainment to many groups and is the licensing authority we work with to ensure schools, libraries and youth groups have the permissions to screen films from our catalogue.
Into Film and the Into Film+ streaming platform is supported by the UK film industry through Cinema First and the BFI through National Lottery Funding, thanks to National Lottery players.
* Screenings of Filmbankmedia's films for an entertainment or extra-curricular purpose require a Public Video Screening Licence (PVSL) from Filmbankmedia. State-funded schools in England are covered by the PVSL.
