Into Film Clubs

My Local Culture's 31 January submission deadline may be fast approaching, but there's still plenty of time for any student hoping be part of this amazing opportunity to get involved and show off their filmmaking skills - and their local borough - to Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. And we're here to help them get going!
With the deadline fast approaching (entries must be in by 23:59 on Weds 31 Jan), remember that if you have any queries or issues with your film or submission, you can always get in touch with us via the Olark live chat (if logged in to our website), via email, or on Twitter or Facebook.
Here at Into Film, we've got numerous resources covering all manner of filmmaking techniques and processes. With these at hand, any student could end up creating a competition winning entry with just the aid of a smart phone and a day of free time. Young people are also free to submit any pre-existing films they may have made to the competition, provided they fit the brief of having something to do with their local borough. Whether it's a brand new film, or something that was produced months, or even years ago... As long as entries are under 3 minutes in length and follow the theme of ‘my local culture,' we want to see them!
This exciting filmmaking competition, in partnership with the Mayor's London Borough of Culture award, invites you to pick up your phone or camera and make a film showing us why your London borough is best. There are two categories - 12 and under and 13 and over - and the prizes include £1500 of state-of-the-art filmmaking equipment and the chance to receive professional training that could be the first step on a path to a career in the British film industry.
