Short (1-4 activities)
A film guide that looks at To Kill A Mockingbird (1962), the Harper Lee adaptation about an idealistic white lawyer in 1930s Alabama who takes on the case of a Black man accused of an awful crime.
This guide is useful for exploring topics including English Literature and Film Studies in addition to highlighting themes surrounding racism, civil rights, film adaptation, novel and American literature.
We have developed a large catalogue of educational resources since launching in 2013, and some references and terminology will inevitably have dated as society and language evolves. We are aware of this and will be updating resources when our production schedule allows.
