It's the future and robots have taken over the world of boxing. One time champion Charlie has been pushed out of the game by these 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel machines and is now a struggling promoter. Near rock bottom he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max to build up a discarded robot and win the championship. But can a machine learn Charlie's winning techniques? Against the odds and a lot of steel action, Charlie and Max fight for one last chance at a comeback.
