Hamish Flint is a grumpy old man who lives high on a mountain, his metal submarine perched precariously on the very summit. Each day, he must find the right balance to enjoy his life and make sure his home doesn’t fall into the depths below. When a curious seagull shows up and disrupts the balance of Hamish’s life, he quickly finds a way to get rid of it. However, the seagull leaves something behind that means Hamish must make a bold decision. Animated with verve and full of slapstick, this short animation explores themes of friendship, responsibility and the difficulty of change.
