Nadeem and Saud are brothers living in New Delhi who run an organisation called Wildlife Rescue which focuses on healing the ‘black kite’ species of bird that have been dropping out of the polluted skies. In a densely populated city with toxic levels of air pollution and a wide range of wildlife, the brothers humorously bicker about everyday things as they go about their business amidst a backdrop of civil unrest. From their makeshift bird hospital in a tiny basement, the brothers are well-known within the community for their quirky but charitable activities. Containing beautiful imagery and exploring pertinent themes around the climate and rising social tensions, this is a moving documentary exploring human devotion to the animal kingdom.
