Two American documentaries explore modern society this week - Science Fair follows passionate students from around the world as they prepare to attend Intel's Science and Engineering Fair - the biggest international fair of its kind. Capturing the confusing and sometimes awkward moments of teenage life, alongside the students determination and bright ideas, the film is a humorous and inspiring look at the future of science and the young people leading that change.
Turning its focus to American politics and Donald Trump, Fahrenheit 11/9 is an accessible account of where the country currently stands. Provocative filmmaker Michael Moore (Bowling for Columbine, Roger and Me) returns to investigate what led to today's disputable administration and some of its frightening consequences, while also exploring the role of the media and its impact on activism.
