Miles Morales prefers to spend time with his uncle over his father, listening to hip-hop and taking trips to the graffiti-filled, abandoned sections of the New York subway together. During one of these, he's bitten by a radioactive spider and becomes Spider-Man... though he's not the only one. Combining different versions of the web-slinging superhero from the comics past and present, the various versions of Spider-Man from across dimensions team up to take down villain Kingpin in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, a visually dazzling, highly creative animation.
Alex Honnold is one of the best-known free solo climbers in the world, an extreme sport in which no ropes or safety gear is used. His dream is to conquer the 3,2000ft high El Capitan rock in Yosemite National Park, California, a feat achieved by no other free solo climber to date. But as things change in Alex's life - his body begins to give way to injuries, and he embarks on a serious relationship - he suddenly has so much more to consider before his attempt. Free Solo is a thrilling documentary which acts as a celebration of the human spirit, all captured with incredible close-up camerawork.
Peter Jackson's astonishing archive-filled documentary uses state-of-the-art technology to digitally restore and transform audio and video footage from the BBC and Imperial War Museum archives, including the colourisation of clips which are one hundred years old. Using these to tell the stories of the British men on the front line of World War One through their own words, They Shall Not Grow Old manages to provide fresh insight into the conditions and experiences of those who bravely served.
Christopher Robin, the son of author A.A. Milne, also fought in World War One. In this charming family film, he returns home from the war to his wife and daughter a different man, finding himself living in busy London with a corporate job which he doesn't enjoy. But when he bumps into his old friend Winnie the Pooh just when he needs him the most, Christopher Robin journeys back into the Hundred Acre Wood and reunites with Eeyore, Tigger and the rest of the gang who remind him of the boy he once was, and the things that really matter in life, in this funny, warm adventure.
