Synopsis

After leaving his childhood friends behind and growing up – meeting a girl, fighting in World War One, coming home and having a daughter – Christopher Robin now lives in busy London, working in a company that sells suitcases. After planning to spend the weekend in the countryside with his wife Evelyn and daughter Madeline, Christopher is forced to cancel last-minute due to an emergency at work, much to the disappointment of his family. Out of the blue, he bumps into his old friend Winnie the Pooh just when he needs him the most, and must journey back into the Hundred Acre Wood on a new adventure. Pooh, along with Eeyore, Tigger and the others, remind Christopher of the person he once was, and help him to reevaluate his priorities in life. Based on the characters created by author A.A. Milne, ‘Christopher Robin’ is a warm, funny and charming story about growing up, family and the joy of childhood.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
