A film guide that looks at Persepolis (2007), a brililantly funny graphic novel adaptation about a rebellious young girl's experience of revolutionary Iran in the 20th century.
This guide is useful for exploring topics including Citizenship, History and Religious Education in addition to highlighting themes surrounding law and order, campaigns and revolutions, democracy, family, growing up, historical periods, graphic novels/comics, and Middle Eastern countries.
We have developed a large catalogue of educational resources since launching in 2013, and some references and terminology will inevitably have dated as society and language evolves. We are aware of this and will be updating resources when our production schedule allows.
