A thought-provoking documentary that explores the fatal police shooting of Mark Duggan and its impact on the community through the eyes of two of Mark’s close friends, Marcus Knox Hooke and Kurtis Henville. At the head of a group peacefully protesting against the shooting, Marcus and Kurtis both became embroiled in the unrest that sparked the London riots of 2011 and later faced conviction for their actions that day. Over the period of three years we follow their responses both to their convictions and when they rejoin the community, which still bears the scars of its uneasy relationship with the police.
