In celebration of World Mental Health Day today (10 October), the high-profile, city fundraiser, ICAP Charity Day has just announced their continued support of our next youth mental wellbeing, filmmaking project Moving Minds 2.
Into Film continues to invest in young people's mental health and wellbeing, and was able to deliver an incredible filmmaking project called ‘Moving Minds', thanks to the help of Into Film's celebrity supporters at the 2017 ICAP Charity Day. Their next project, Moving Minds 2, aims to benefit an even greater number of young people experiencing mental health issues.

We will be part of ICAP Charity Day on 10 December 2019, the annual fundraiser when ICAP's traders dress up, the charities' ambassadors attend to help secure deals on the phone and electronically and all the money raised goes to various charities globally - over £145 million has been raised by the event over the years.
Tina Christou, Global Head of CSR & Charity Day, TP ICAP said: "With an ever-increasing mental health crisis among children and young people, ICAP Charity Day will again support Into Film and the development of Moving Minds 2, providing effective ways for schools and support organisations to open conversations around mental health, through innovative filmmaking, ultimately helping more young people with their mental wellbeing."
It's the second time we have benefited - with ICAP's generous donation in 2017 we created Moving Minds, a fantastic filmmaking programme, which gives young people who have faced challenges with mental wellbeing and those who wish to explore mental health and wellbeing the opportunity to work with professional filmmakers to tell and share their own stories through a series of short films. These powerful moving films have been shared in schools nationally to help thousands of other young people experiencing similar feelings. You can watch all of the films from the original project below:
Into Film continues to provide support through film and teaching resources in response to the growing number of young people experiencing mental health challenges. The first Moving Minds project gave 200 young people the chance to work with professional filmmakers to devise and create their own short film about their own personal challenges. These films have now been shown and shared throughout the UK in both schools and childrens' social services providers. With the funds raised at this year's ICAP Charity Day, Moving Minds 2 will reach and support an even greater audience of young people.
