This resource is designed to enhance your experience of visiting the festival and can be used before or after viewing a film that is part of the Culture Shock strand. This strand will open a window onto the lives of others, modern and historical, and will encourage young people to appreciate how changes of environment and significant life transitions can affect people. Films have been chosen with key themes in mind including transition, immigration, refugees, loss, sexual and racial discrimination.
