Into Film Clubs
Find out everything you need to know about starting an Into Film Club.
As part of this year's Into Film Festival, we held a very special Careers in Film Summit, in London, in association with The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Held at the beautifully restored Regent Street Cinema, the half-day event for students and budding young filmmakers aged 14-19 featured three exciting hour-long panels, bringing together Academy members and other film industry guests to discuss their professions, as well as the paths they took to achieve career success. Watch highlights from this fascinating event and hear some of the top advice and insights offered to young people in the video above.
Some of the film industry professions to be represented include cinematography, composing, production design, screenwriting, acting, directing, producing, production sound, film editing, costume design and visual effects. The panelists offered their first hand knowledge and experience of working in the industry and identified the key knowledge areas and skill sets that are essential for specific careers.
